Frequently Asked Questions ABOUT IOP
What level of care is outpatient?
Outpatient care is best for those who still need help but do not require hospitalization.
Which is better, inpatient or outpatient?
Both inpatient and outpatient have their positives. An inpatient program can be a great starting point for those beginning their journey to recovery. It can allow you to safely stop your substance use if that is what they wish to do. However, staying at the facility for your entire treatment is required. An outpatient program allows you to go home at the end of the day. This level of care is often a step down from an inpatient program and gives you more freedom in your treatment plan.
What is considered outpatient treatment?
Outpatient treatment does not require staying at the facility while you complete treatment.
What is outpatient treatment for mental health?
Outpatient treatment for mental health is a service that treats you for conditions such as depression, anxiety, or substance use disorders and does not require staying at the facility.

WHAT OUR ALUMNI HAVE TO SAY ABOUT ARSNH
Real Alumni and Fellow Practitioners Speaking to Their Experiences With ARS
I attended their 5-week I.O.P. and theIr aftercare classes and it was very helpful. The counselors they have there are very knowledgeable and made me feel welcome and comfortable. So I definitely recommend ARS to anyone looking for help. Thank you guys for everything.
I attended many IOP programs before finding this one and this one was by far the best. The program was great I felt really comfortable there and the staff was the best I’ve ever worked with. I’ve been sober over 3 years since attending and I am lucky I found them.

ARS provided an indispensible foundation to build upon when I attended their intensive outpatient program in fall 2017. Their welcoming staff and environment were able to tackle the situation I'd found myself in with an individualized plan to work towards being my best self. We discussed and implemented many tools that have very much played a large role in getting to where I am today. I really enjoyed the group therapy aspect as well as it benefitted myself and others to have people to relate to at various points in recovery. Long story short - I always looked forward to attending sessions and will suggest ARS to anyone in my life who is seeking assistance in putting their respective vices in the past. Thank you for everything ARS!

Richard C. - (5 Star Google Review)
Exactly 2 years ago I entered this facility. I was lost, scared and had absolutely no idea what my future would hold. The staff at ARS were the most compassionate and encouraging group of individuals I have ever met. I had completed an IOP program across the country and it didn't even compare to this program. I attribute my success in my personal and professional life to the staff. I would not be where I am without them.
